about the editor

Irina Rusinovich

Founder BELGRADEART.COM, PURPLEHAZE MAGAZINE, HAZEGALLERY

Irina Rusinovich is an independent curator, editor-in-chief of PURPLEHAZE Magazine, and founder of HAZE.GALLERY, an art gallery with international pop up exhibitions. Originally from Moscow and raised between Russia and Germany since the age of ten, with studies in London and an international career spanning multiple cities, Irina is currently based in Belgrade while working across the global contemporary art scene.

With a background in business management, communications, photography, in London and curatorial studies in Berlin, Irina developed a multidisciplinary approach that combines visual culture with strategic thinking. Since 2017, she has worked closely with emerging and mid-career artists through exhibitions, editorial features, consulting, and international collaborations.

Founded in Berlin in 2019, HAZE.GALLERY evolved from a traditional gallery model into a nomadic curatorial platform that merges physical exhibitions, pop-up projects, and digital publishing. Through its dialogue with PURPLEHAZE Magazine, the platform explores the intersection of contemporary art, fashion, and visual narratives while creating accessible and critically engaged cultural experiences.

Alongside curating exhibitions and international projects, Irina continuously documents and researches evolving art scenes across Europe, with a particular interest in Belgrade’s growing contemporary art landscape and its raw, independent energy.
